Jason "Bugman" Carpenter
President/CEO Certified Pest Management Professional
Jason Carpenter is the founder of Environmental Pest Management. He has worked in the pest control industry for 28 years and started the company out of his basement. He is responsible for determining the vision, strategic planning and family succession of the business. Jason has also worked with Dr. Susan Jones at The Ohio State University on research pertaining to experimental use of chemicals for termites & bed bugs. In 2005, Jason created a patented software solution that allows property managers to pin point levels of pest infestations. He enjoys golf, cycling, cigars, billiards, and being an Uber driver for his daughter and her friends.

Karen "The Boss" Carpenter

Karen Carpenter runs EPMs back of the house. From accounting to scheduling, you can count on Karen to put your smallest need before all others. Karen grew up in Westerville, Ohio and graduated from Worthington Christian High School. Karen received her bachelor’s degree in 1994 from Muskingum College. After completing college, Karen went on to pursue a career in management/sales for such companies as Marriott and Doubletree hotels, and Lens Crafters. Karen’s biggest joy is raising her daughter, Kayla in Lewis Center, Ohio.

Pat "Mr. Focused" Lang
Chief Financial Officer
Pat brings more than 25 years of diverse business, finance, administration, and accounting experience to EPM. He has extensive involvement in matters ranging from day-to-day operating decisions, business development, strategic planning, merger/acquisitions, and multisite operations. Pat’s experience and expertise include working in the financial and health care industries, with extensive experience in public and private sector financial analysis, strategic planning, SEC reporting, IPOs, merger/acquisitions and multisite operations. He has served in several senior management capacities with The BISYS Group, Magellan Health Services, and Deloitte. Pat received a BS, Business Administration, Accounting from The Ohio State University. In his free time, he enjoys road cycling and golf.

Brandon "I Work Out" Carpenter
General Manager Certified Pest Management Professional
Brandon is the owner’s eldest son and has grown up in the family business. Beginning at a young age, Brandon and his younger brother, Blake, would go out into the field with their father to pitch in to observe and help out on termite jobs and late night wildlife animal calls. In fact, Brandon earned his first "paycheck" by working every day over his 7th grade spring break vacation to earn money for a bicycle. Today, Brandon has learned while on the job and has worked his way up in the company as a result of his dedication and perseverance.

Sarah "High Heels" Baughman
Director of Customer Relations
Known for always wearing heels, Sarah grew up in Ohio and attended The Ohio State University. Currently residing in Dallas, she is the mother of three children and has what she describes as “the best job ever!” Although working with property managers is her specialty, no task is too big or too small for Sarah. She is dedicated to providing quality service and constantly strives to meet or exceed expectations for our clients.

Julie "Number Cruncher" Ruzicka

If Julie isn’t on the drag strip cheering and keeping track of her two teenage boys times, she is keeping track of our financials. Growing up in the heart of Westerville, Julie attended Westerville South High School and went on to receive her business degree from Ohio University in Marketing. Previously, Julie worked as a buyer at Sygma Network and ran the financials for her family business- Gracie Fire Protection. A resident of Grove City she enjoys traveling the country (in their RV), skiing, watching movies and spending time with her family.

Michael "The Big Man" McKibben
Assistant General Manager
Michael is a transplant from Cincinnati who found his home in Columbus and at EPM in the summer of 2015. Whether he is routing out termites or taking down a pesky bee nest, he is ready to get rid of any pest. When he isn’t at work he enjoys hiking and playing soccer with his son.

Kirsten "Customer Service" Hovest
Residential Specialist and Human Resources
Kirsten grew up mostly in Northeast, Ohio but brought her talents to the Columbus area in 2014. She has a passion for helping others, whether it be our clientele or in house staff, she is always trying to brighten someone’s day. She is excited to make a meaningful impact on this growing organization and its customers. Kirsten spends her free time traveling with her growing family and is obsessed with her dog Murphy.

Shanna “Loves Music” Davis
Property Management Specialist
Shanna is a 10 year real-state professional. Although new to pest control, working hand and hand with others to make our community better has always been very important to her.
Shanna can be found on evenings/weekends listening to music or watching her beloved Buckeyes battle it out.

Tiffany “The Fixer” Aleksiejczyk
Property Management Administrator
Originally from a small town in Ohio called Mingo Junction, Tiffany shares her hometown with the band Wild Cherry who is most known for their hit “Play That Funky Music”. She moved to Columbus in the Summer of 2013 and now currently resides in Pataskala. Even though Tiffany is new to pest control, she is always willing to step in and help with any project EPM has. No task is too big or too small for her to figure out. When she is not working, she enjoys spending her free time listening to music & making memories with her family of 5. Tiffany is excited to continue to learn and help keep her community pest free.

Emily McAleese
Residential Specialist
Emily hails from Long Island, New York, but found her love for Ohio while attending the University of Dayton. While at UD, Emily studied Sociology and played an active role within The University of Dayton’s Rivers Institute. Emily then went off to southern Arkansas to teach high school English within the Teach for America Program. However, Emily knew her heart was in Ohio and felt it was time to return. EPM has presented Emily with new sets of goals and challenges which keeps her coming back every day for more!

Kyle "The Original" Phillips

Kyle was the first technician hired. He’s our "original" and a favorite among many property managers. Our "younger generation" property management clients absolutely love his smile and personality when he enters their communities. Don‘t let charm fool you! When it comes to bed bugs, Kyle has the most experience on the team when it comes to exterminating these hard-to-kill vermin. His five-year-old and 10-year-old sons are his pride and joy. They live together in Westerville next to our field office. Kyle’s excellent work ethic makes him a valuable team player.

Jamie "The Family Man" Reisinger

Jamie is the epitome of a “family man." His dedication to his family is what pushes him to work hard everyday. He and his fiancee raise their four beautiful children together in Delaware, Ohio. Jamie takes pride in his work, and in his commitment to his customers. He is known for being a bug detective. If there is any sign of one, he’ll find it! During his off time, he’s also the lead singer in the band, “Just Two Guys." He also plays the djembe!

Justin "Mr. Thorough" Jacobs

Justin grew up in Lancaster, Ohio. He currently resides in Buckeye Lake with his wife and son. One of the things he loves most about working for our company is the opportunity to help people and learn something new each day. In his free time he enjoys watching college football, especially The Ohio State Buckeyes.

Brandon “B3” Miller

Brandon has lived in Columbus his whole life and loves to help out with the community. When he’s not killing bugs you can find him at the gym. Brandon has been competing in fitness shows for over 3 years.

Mike "Family Man" England

Mike loves to tackle pests! His favorite pests to eliminate are termites. His wife and child are his number one priority, with extended family a close 2nd. In his free time, he enjoys singing and writing music, biking, or playing with one of their 9 dogs! He loves to stay active and healthy.

Darrin "The Grunt" Dugger

Darrin published his first book this year titled "The Moon Bleeds Red". He is an Army Military veteran that deployed to Afghanistan and worked for corporate pest control before coming to Environmental Pest Management. Darrin enjoys being a pest control technician as well as the Wildlife/Rodent side of it as it requires creativity and ingenuity to be successful. His favorite Quote is “You can sleep when your dead”.

Tim "Good Fella" Moglianesi

Originally from Southern California, he now resides in Columbus Ohio. Bringing with him, all the knowledge and experience he has gained in the Golden State. Over the past two years in the pest control industry, he has tackled some of the toughest pest issues out there. With determination and a positive attitude Timothy will resolve any pest issues that cross his path, making him an excellent addition to our team.

Shaun "The Snake" Fent

Shauns wide knowledge of reptiles from snakes to lizards and every thing in between brings an edge to the team. When a situation arises of anything of the reptilian variety needs attention he is there to make it happen and I’m sure to put a squeeze on them to make sure they are relocated and have a better life. He will also put the squeeze on any critters and bugs that cross his path.

Chris has grown up and lived in central Ohio within 270 for his entire life, which is where he is raising his two daughters 3, and 7 that mean everything to him! He is a huge family man spends all his free time with his Fiancé and daughters as well as 2 dogs whether it’s fishing, sports or just watching movies! Chris loves the outdoors and any chance he has you will catch him in his or others yards sprucing it up! Chris is keen on doing that little extra for the customer making sure to always look everywhere for the source of the ants you may see or just bringing the garbage cans back up from the street!

Grew up in Columbus Ohio and enjoys his pest control job helping customers with various pest control needs, Nathan has a strong work ethic and is a believer in “do the job right or don’t do it at all” In his free time he enjoys outdoor activities, exploring new places and video games.

Chris “CMOORE” Moore

Chris grew up on a farm and moved to Columbus in the late ‘80’s. His schooling background is in the sciences, mainly chemistry and biology. He was a brick mason for many years and has operated in almost every facet of the construction trade except for roofing and electrical installation. This understanding of how structures are build, their methodologies and materials, coupled with the chem/bio schooling has been invaluable in the pest management industry. His detective mindset always asks the question: “What is the environment telling me I need know?” Chris has found a home here at EPM, where the family atmosphere and likeminded concepts of pest management compliment his outgoing personality. In his spare time he loves the outdoors, especially kayak fishing, and keep his fieldcraft skills honed. He is an active student of music, playing guitar, learning piano and bass, and working in his recording studio.

Austin Carney

Austin’s introduction to pest control began in 2012 after moving to Columbus from Zanesville, OH. What was expected to only be a stepping stone turned into an exciting and uniquely rewarding career in a crucial yet often overlooked aspect of life. In his spare time he enjoys hiking and camping with his wife and dog, tinkering in the garage or finding a new part of the house/yard to "renovate".

Justin “Dale Gribble” White

Justin was born and raised in California. He enjoys problem solving and getting his hands dirty. He graduated from Westerville south high school in 2006. On hot summers days he enjoy longboard trips around Westerville.

Adam Thompson

Respectful customer service and thorough treatments are what Adam strives to provide EPM customers with each interaction. A native of Northeast Ohio, Adam now resides in Gahanna with his wife and children. In his free time Adam enjoys hunting and fishing, as well as attending his kids sporting events.

Adel Ali

Adel began his working years with computers and networking but now is into his second career for the past 4 years, pest control. For 30 years he worked for a large corporation, GMRA, as the computer department manager. Now that he has made a career move into pest control, he is enjoying his job and is always learning something new. Dealing with people and solving their issues brings a lot of satisfaction to Adel. He enjoys sports and especially his beloved Buckeyes!!
