OPPORTUNITY
We’re hiring an experienced, people-oriented pest control technician to join our growing team of best-in-the-industry professionals. You’ll start out earning between $19 and $23 per hour plus overtime pay, bonuses and commissions. We’ll also pay for additional training and certifications, as well as uniforms. Our licensed pest control technicians earn an average of $3,500/month. This role is perfect for someone licensed in the state of Ohio with at least 1 year experience servicing customers in the pest control industry.

Status: Full-time, Hourly (non-exempt)

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
$19.00 to $23.00 per hour plus overtime

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must hold a current Ohio Commercial Pesticide Applicator License
- Less than 2 points on driving record
- Willingness to submit and ability to pass a background check
- Experience working and communicating with Property Managers, as well as the public, is preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Track record of exceeding customers’ expectations
- Excellent communication skills; ability to communicate productively with coworkers and customers both verbally and in writing
- Excellent attention to detail
- Exceptional in-the-moment problem-solving skills
- Strong work ethic, take pride in a job well-done
- Prompt and timely, with excellent time management skills

- Doesn’t mind – and might even enjoy – crawling into tight spaces, climbing ladders, and getting a little dirty

JOB DESCRIPTION
The Pest Control Technician’s primary responsibility is to ensure that buildings and the surrounding areas are free from pests and rodents. Duties include but are not limited to:
- Follow scheduled route
- Arrive on time at each day’s first appointment
- Eradicate pests in a timely manner using integrated pest management strategies
- Know and follow proper chemical labels
- Know and follow all OSHA and EPA guidelines and requirements
- Check in and communicate with route manager throughout the day
- Complete Pestpac and Work Orders daily
- Keep work vehicle & equipment clean and in proper working order
- Keep work vehicle stocked with supplies
- Willing and able to work overtime during busy periods
Physical Requirements:
- Working in other peoples’ homes.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., crawl through attics, use a ladder to access roofs, and inspect crawl spaces.
- Standing, stooping, crawling, climbing.
